The Book of Matthew

Matthew tells the story of Jesus the Messiah, the long-awaited Son of David and Son of Abraham, who fulfills the Scriptures, teaches the way of the kingdom of heaven, gives his life for his people, and rises to commission his disciples. It is a Gospel written to show that the promises of God find their yes in Jesus the King.
