Acts 9: The Conversion of Saul
Saul encounters the risen Jesus and is transformed from persecutor to preacher.
Summary
On the road to Damascus to arrest believers, Saul is stopped by a blinding light and the voice of Jesus asking why he persecutes him. Left blind, Saul waits in the city until a reluctant disciple named Ananias, sent by God, restores his sight and welcomes him. Saul is baptized and immediately begins proclaiming Jesus, astonishing those who knew his violent reputation. Meanwhile, Peter travels through the region, healing Aeneas and raising Tabitha to life, and the church continues to grow.
